cajun4talk2u need help to clarify doubt about : What is the best vacuum cleaner for hard floors (and short nape carpet)?
In my home, I have mostly vinyl tile and uncarpeted floors but I do have at least two bedrooms with carpet. Looking for a good vacuum without having to pay an arm and a leg. Also, tell me if bag or bagless, thanks.

The Eureka Mighty Mite Boss is a bag canister. It is recommended for hard floors. I use it on laminate wood, vinyl tile, and area rugs and it works wonderfully. It costs under $ 70 at Wal-Mart. I have always been a big fan of Dyson vacuums but cannot justify paying $ 400 even though they work wonders. I was pleasantly surprised with this Eureka. I high recommend this product.

Love my Bissell bagless, $ 45 walmart. Have 2 golden retrievers inside, bissell easily handled hair on linoleum and carpet – clear cannister so you can see when it needs emptying, really sucks.
