Not a very good idea to suck up water in your vacuum as you will blow it up, even cause a fire, as well as electrifying yourself, if you want to suck up water then buy one that does the job.
You could end up electrocuting yourself! Definitely not a good idea.
They sell water vacs at walmart, from like 30 bucks.. Don’t use a regular upright.
only with a waterproof shopvac
go ahead and suck up the water. it will probably be the last thing that vacuum will pick up and then you can go buy a new one that will do both water and dry.
Jack up the filter? It will almost certainly either blow out your fuse box or kill you. Regular vacuums are not made for working with water.
Either mop up the water, soak it up with old towels, or go buy a proper wet-dry vacuum.
