I have gone throw many cheap vacuums. I had a bagless Eureka. It never got all the bunny fur up. Then I had a bagless Bissell Vacuum it picked up the stuff on the surface but never got deep down. It also clogged a lot. I had to take it apart so many times. We have a badless Dirt Devil it was . It does not pick up sand, when you use the attachment it just blows the dirt back in the house. I hate it. We have only had it for 5 months and the belt or something broke.
With all those disappointments I learned you get what you pay for with vacuums. I decided I’m going to bite the bullet and get an expensive vacuum. I was thinking an Oreck but I heard more people liked their dysons better. I did my researched and the Dyson own.
I have 3 dogs and we take them to the beach everyday just imagine all the sand and hair in the house. We have a baby on the way so I want my rugs clean.
I ordered a referb DC14 reach, from amazon.
Did I make the right decision?
LOVE LOVE LOVE my Dyson!!! I got it right when my daughter started crawling, and I was so glad! The amount of dirt it picked up that my other one didn’t even touch, was amazing!
I immediately took it to my mom’s house to show her. She is the Queen of Clean, and when she saw how much it got out of her carpets she immediately went out and bought one. She has two large german shepherds and she loves the Dyson for picking up all that hair. She was a diehard Oreck van before the Dyson, and she swears she’ll never go back.
So, in my opinion, Yes, you made the right decision!
Dysons are bad ass. Im sure you made a great choice.
I have a Dyson and I love it. I’ve had it forever too.
It looks almost intimidating at first, but you will quickly see all the pieces are there for a reason. Everything seems to fit together so nicely. It cleans my carpet, furniture and mattress really well, with the right attachments.
The only drawback is that when you empty it, be sure to open the bin deep in the trash can. Dust tends to fly up. But it gets more dirt up than my miele, hoover or dustbusters ever did.
I"LL take an Oreck any Day!
