Great vaccum for Persian Rugs, area rugs, and hardwood floors,
This is a great product for fine rugs and hardwood floors. Vacuum cleaners with spinning brushes (I have a very good HEPA I used to use for wall-to-wall carpeting) are not good for fine rugs as they destroy them. Therefore you need to use a vacuum cleaner with good suction that can remove the dirt without mechanically beating the fine yarn. Because this vacuum is quite powerful, especially for its size, it works great at cleaning fine rugs. Also, because you can vary the power on the handle, you can have great control over the cleaning process.
I have bought one of these vacuum cleaners for myself and one for my parents who are also very happy. They are in their late 70s and have no problem using it, though they do use the Cyclonic Dirt Separator as they find it too heavy. However, even without the Separator, they find vacuum cleaner to work fantastically.
I don’t think you can get a better vacuum cleaner for the price.

I like this vacuum a lot. It’s small, powerful, high quality construction, and has excellent exhaust. I have also an Eureka The Boss SmartVac for the big job. But to get in those hard to reach places & corners, I like to supplement the Eureka with the portability and maneuverability of this vac. This is a 3 stage vacuum, the first is a cyclonic chamber to catch all the big stuff, then the normal bag, and last a HEPA filter to clean up any fine dust before it sends the air back out. Like all Hepa filters, the air becomes kind of dry when using this vac. As one reviewer mentioned, the head doesn’t have a propelling brush to help move it forwards, but I don’t find that to be a big problem. Every now and then I have to stop & clean the head because it gets hairs stuck in/on it. The bag is a bit small and can fill up quickly when not using the cyclone attachment. The bag model is Samsung VP-95BF and you can get them relatively cheap, 5 for 13 bucks with free shipping at EZVacuum.com. My unit was manufactured in Korea, not in China if that matters to you. I hope this review helps in your decision.
