The Total Floors Complete vacuum is a versatile tool for any home. This vacuum has a convenient Edge Cleaning Port to hold the crevice tool for you and clean along edges more easily. Powerful suction is diverted to the edge of the vacuum to clean along baseboards and furniture where dirt and debris accumulate. The brush roll on/off switch allows for easy transition from cleaning carpets to hard floors and the 40-foot power cord provides greater reach with less time spent dealing with plugs. The Total Floors Complete also includes the TurboBrush Tool and the Long Reach Dusting Tool for cleaning hard surfaces and hard-to-reach places. Additionally, the Febreze Vacuum Filter eliminates odors and leaves your home smelling fresh as you vacuum. M
Great features, really helped get my house cleaner,
The Bissell Total Floors Complete vacuum exceeded my expectations! The vacuum is powerful and did a fantastic job on every task I’ve tried so far. This model comes with added features that I’ve not had in other vacuums I’ve owned, and they really made a difference in how clean my house was after using it.
First of all, the vacuum has plenty of suction and did a great job on my floors. I have a mix of carpet, rugs, and hardwood in my home. The vac did a great job all around. Even my dark rugs looked much better. The on and off switch for the brush was very handy when vacuuming hard floors. I was able to easily turn off the brush so it didn’t just knock the dirt around when I cleaned the hardwood floors. It was interesting to see how quickly the dirt accumulated in the clear dirt cup as I worked.
This vacuum offers deep suction from the edge of the vac, so it can clean up anything along the baseboard. I was a bit skeptical of this, but it really did a great job. It will let me get a deep cleaning every time I vacuum, without having to take the extra time to use a crevice tool. Normally that ends up pretty low on my list of priorities, now I won’t have to worry about it.
It comes with an amazing TurboBrush tool. Bissell offers a turbo brush designed for pet hair with some of their models. However, I thought the regular turbo brush did an awesome job on pet hair! The dark red fabric on my couch is napped, so it attracts hair from my chihuahuas. They shed so much fur that I don’t understand why they aren’t bald. The turbo brush did a great job in removing it from the couch, even along the curves. My dogs have short hair, so you might not have the same results if you have a long hair pet. Bissell sells attachments designed for pet hair so you can upgrade if you need to. The turbo brush also did an amazing job under the couch cushions and other awkward places that need a brush but would be hard to use the whole vac on.
The TurboBrush attaches to the hose so you can use it to clean stairs easily and safely without having to maneuver the vac on the steps. The hose is very flexible and is long enough to do a good job on the steps. It just occurred to me that I can take it out to the garage and use the TurboBrush in the car!
The 40 foot cord is one of my favorite features of this vacuum. I can plug it in the most centrally located outlet in the house and can vacuum everywhere without having to change the plug! That might not seem like much to a lot of people, but it’s wonderful for me because one of my rooms contains outlets behind heavy furniture. Vacuuming the far corners has been tricky at times.
The handle is more ergonomic than on other models, so it’s easier to handle. This is particularly helpful during longer cleaning jobs, or anyone with wrist problems. This isn’t the lightest weight vac I’ve used, but it is lighter than most others I’ve tried and it’s easy to carry up the stairs.
I’d like to note that the resolution on the installation instruction pictures is very poor, causing a little assembly confusion. I also wish there was more than one hose extension tube, which would probably take cleaning to another level.
I never really thought that a vacuum could offer additional features that would really make me feel like my house was cleaner than using a regular vac. The Bissell Total Floors Complete lived up to it’s claims in my house.
