Does an excellent job – especially on hardwood floors. It is a little bit noisy. I did mention to Amazon that I did not receive an operators manual – they gave me an email contact and was able to copy off the manual on my computer – I appreciated Amazon helping me and doing it in a timely manner.

I bought this vac for my tile and laminate floors and to replace the handheld dustbuster that I use occasionaly on my carpets. All of my heavy use floors areas are carpetless. This vac is great for picking up dust, crumbs and most everything else. For the carpet it is fine to use between regular vacuuming to keep the carpet looking spotless.
The vac is light to use, takes up little space and has more power than I expected.
The reconditioned model is the same as the new except the warranty is shorter.

We always need a small vacuum to use after meal times with the kids. This one has done a good job at cleaning up the vinyl floor. It also does well at cleaning up hair after haircuts. The charging stand makes it easy to keep it close at hand in a corner ready to use at all times. It’s a bit bulky for a handheld, but is not too difficult to haul around the house. I like the folding design because it doesn’t take up as much room when not in use. I like that it is cordless because dealing with a cord for small vacuuming jobs is a pain (I know from experience with our previous small vacuums). The other reviewer is right–it does not hold a charge very long. Long enough to get small jobs done, but not enough for major work. We have also found now after about 18 months that it is getting worse and worse at holding a charge. The battery seems to be dying. I will probably still buy another one of these. No small vacuum seems to last very long no matter who makes it. We’ve had different models from different companies, and this is one of the best we’ve had.
