I use the hand tool attachment on my vacuum to suck up spiders because I’m too afraid to touch them, and I was wondering if there’s a possibility they may crawl back out or start to nest inside. Or, would whatever create suction tear them into itty bitty little pieces on their way in? Dumb question, right?
… I need the answer to this question also, I’ve just never thought to ask it. Therefore, I don’t think it’s a dumb question! My vacuum cleaner has a little cage thing that goes over the top of the tube, but I’ve always wondered if it can climb out through the bottom of the vacuum at all. My boyfriend always teases me that it’s going to climb out. Usually I just empty it and throw that bag away outside of the house.
any other than a ‘cheapy’ , would have a rubber flap to contain
the wast.
I doubt a spider would feel safe enough to nest inside
of the vacuum, unless it sits in the closet for weeks at a time.
Just empty the container in the trash can out back/front
As small as they are, the answer is Yes, they can & they would crawl back out instead of nesting. You’d be better off to step on them & kill them. If it’s a brown recluse spider & it bites you, you will HAVE to go to the doctor cause the bite place will get infected & spread. It won’t heal up by itself.
