Hoover Bagless Upright Vacuum
Goodbye Dyson. Hello Hoover!,
Wow.
It picked up dirt and fur that my Dyson left behind! My Dyson that cost 4x as much! I’m sold.
The Hoover not only beat my Dyson in the carpet test, but it has a few bells and whistles that I’m enjoying as well, like the automatic retractable cord, front light, and an indicator that reminds you when to change the filter.

Excellent Vacuum For The Money,
Customer Video Review Length:: 1:22 Mins
My wife and I have used Kirby brand vacuums for most of our marriage. We currently use a Kirby Sentria that we paid somewhere around $800 for. As one would expect, our Kirby has been a supurb vacuum. While it might seem unfair at first, I compared the performance of the Hoover WindTunnel 3 Pro Pet vacuum in the video.
The Hoover WindTunnel 3 was easy to assemble. From opening the box to ready to vacuum took me 5 minutes and 48 seconds. The only tool needed for assembly is a Phillips screwdriver. I personally had no issues with the instructions or assembly of the vacuum.
The vacuum does not have a lot of features, which is not unexpected given the price range of the unit. The adjustment of the vacuum height is done by a turn dial on the head of the vacuum. The brushes in the vacuum head can be turned off with a foot pedal on the left side of the head. There is no movement assist with this vacuum. There is a suction powered upholstery tool that comes with the unit you can use with the hose. Personally, I was not impressed with this hand held tool. Perhaps it would work better with longer pet hair. There is a second handheld tool which has no moving parts. This handheld tool works like any other. It did the job, but did not seem to be anything special.
The vacuum does not do a good job with edges. The vacuum comes with a telescoping wand to get cracks and edges. The wand is two pieces (one of the pieces is telescoping). When assembled, the wand measures 31 inches. When attached to the hose, it is long enough where at 5ft 11in, I do not have to bend over much to vacuum the cracks and edges with the wand and hose combination. The only part I do not like is that the hose must be disconnected each time the wand is to be used and with the hose disconnected, the main part of the vacuum has no suction. While not a terrible inconvenience, it is kind of a pain to disassemble the vacuum everytime I want to get the dirt and hair out of the edges along the wall when I am trying to vacuum a room.
Besides the fact that the vacuum did not clean up along the edges of the head too well, the unit performed superbly. As I showed in the video, the Hoover cleaned almost as well as my Kirby.
Overall, I thought this is an excellent vacuum. While the features of the vacuum are basic, overall it does a suburb job cleaning.
