If it worked fine at first, but now doesn’t, then the solution is simple. Check the filters. There are probably 3 of them, if it is anything like my bagless. One of them is under or above, the dirt cup. Another one is on the dirt cup. The 3rd one is the HEPA filter on the back of the vacuum. If it is new, I doubt it is the HEPA yet.
Check the other two filters and clean them, shake them out.
Check your hoses. They may have gotten clogged with hair, trash, and/or other things.
Also, check your roller brush. These will also get dirty and will not be able to loosen the dirt to get it sucked up. Hair or string can wrap themselves around it. Cut these loose and pull free. (You can remove the cover to your vacuum bottom for easier access.) make sure it spins easily. It won’t *spin*, but it will move when you turn it. If it seems too hard to spin, then there is probably something stuck in the end caps of the roller. You’ll have to pull it out and clean it. (If it doesn’t spin, it can actually burn the rubber belt in half.)
After all this checking and cleaning, it should work fine. If it doesn’t, then the problem is with the vacuum itself. If it’s still under warranty, have it replaced or repaired.
make sure the cup where the dirt goes is properly inserted and locked in place. Also, if you used the hose and sucked something up and its lodged in there you’ll need to get it out. Or maybe its a damaged model!?
i have a bagless vacuum and it gets clogged often. do you have a filter on your vacuum? i noticed i had a filter above where i empty my cup, i looked up inside the vacuum and pulled down this plastic filter and it was filled with dirt, hair, etc. There is also another filter screen right on the front of the vacuum as well. Somewhere on your vacuum there should be another filter that needs to be cleaned. my vacuum is similar but it is a eureka.
If its the type that uses hepa-filters.You should clean the filter as best as you can.Without getting it wet.By the way the filters are very expensive. When I found out the price of a replacement.I removed mine from the machine, brushed the lint and dirt off.Put it back in the vacumn were the filter sits.Granted you can do that a few times.Although it does save some money.
