Never bought one. Wondering what brand works good and has longevity I want it to last. and I don’t want to have to fiddle with it and do tons of maintenance to keep it working. Want a bagless and I hear they have beltless now. Any thoughts and opinions. Want an attractive one but I hear the Dyson is powerful.
some of the cheapest are the best. all vacs need periodic cleaning and changing of the bags and replacement of the belts.
get a consumer reports buying guide to assist you.
i love the oreck, it is a little expensive but worth the money and they last for years,,, most motel chains use them because there so good,,, another plus… they go from carpet to floors without any adjustments
Consumer Reports does not recommend the Dyson.
It honestly depends on how much you want to spend on the Vacuum.. Dyson, Bissell, And Electrolux all make wonderfull vacuums in their respective price ranges. however they are all different. My advice would be to go to several stores and try demos. You not only want a powerfull vacuum but one that works well for you
Oreck is the best I have ever used. Even when it got clogged it was easy to unclog by myself. A book and customer service line is helpful. This is a lightweight ,clean, and powerful vacumn. Worth the price all the way around. I could go on….
i got a bissell 10 amp at walmart for 50$, it works great. bissell also has the bagless type. check out walmart. good luck!
I have a Hoover Empower bagless vacuum cleaner and I like it. You really should try out the demo models because when I shopped for one I wanted to make sure the handle was comfortable.
wind tunnel knows how too suck (hoover) with the bag~
