What should i do now that the rotating fan is jammed up and had my friend’s CKs wrapped up around it? I shut if off immediately after realising, but there seems to be a rough sound coming from the motor.. did i damage the unit? pls help…..

The CK’s are probably caught up round the brush at the base of the cleaner, or in the hose lust a little further up. You should find that if you turn the cleaner on its side, there will be some screws on the bottom plate, the bit that goes along the floor, and if you undo those, the plate will come off and hopefully you will see the pants. BE really careful not to take the brush itself out, or the rubber belt thats holding it in place, because its a hell of a job putting it back. Then just pull the pants out, and no harm done.
