I have a bagless vacuum cleaner, and I can vacuum and vacuum and nothing ends up in the little collection compartment. If I remove the compartment and reach up in there, I can pull out big clumps of whatever is supposed to be going into the compartment. Well, I did this a few times and nothing is improving. In fact, now crap is being spit out all over the floor. The floor is dirtier than when I started. What could this be?
That’s not very helpful at all.
You will have to unplug the vacuum and clean out the collection area that leads to the bagless feature.. A coat hanger works.. My collection "area" is clear and if I have a clog I can see it collect above the brush of my vacuum… Also, you filter may need to be cleaned or replaced…
Good luck
You need to get a new vacuum cleaner.
Even more dirt is caught in the passage way between the attachment and the collection trap, you will have to clean that out.
Change the filter.
Mine does that sometimes, and it has a lot of power when it’s working correctly, but the hose on it is very soft and flexible and the only thing I can figure is perhaps the hose is getting kinked and that’s where everything is chocking, I do use the hand held attachments quite a bit so that’s all I can think of…I’ve had to call Hoover with my canister before and they were very helpful, give the company a call. I hate a spitting vacuum.
