Both are just about the same – and moderately decent units.
But the best bagless unit out there is a Dyson – they are expensive and a bit fussy in their care, but well worth it. We have a house with two large, long-haired cats, a golden retriever (who sheds 1/3 of a complete dog per week) and a scottie. We have tried most of the competition including Kirby and Rainbow – the Dyson is the best by far. Followed by the Rainbow – which is far more fussy than the Dyson. The Kirby is very powerful, but no better than a regular vacuum other than its build-quality – which is excellent, best of all of them. We still have the first two, but one lives at the summer house and one is a back-up to the Dyson and almost never used.
