bama_turtle need help to clarify doubt about : How to clean the suction portion of a Hoover steam cleaner?
The only thing that I can think of is pipe cleaner to clean the inside of the water vacuum. Do you have any suggestions or know of anything that has worked?

I have a Hoover steam cleaner and that section comes off (the clear part in the front) with a few screws. Good luck.

I agree with the first answer also when cleaning the suction part use some straight vinegar then rinse well.
