I have a bagless Dirt Devil Vacuum model #085835. LAtely, it has been very hard to push. I can not see anything wrong with the vacuum itself, could it be that the belt needs changing? The vacuum is almost 2 years old. Any tips?
I suppose it may be a problem then to get the warranty fixed without having my receipt anymore?

According to the Dirt Devil website your model vacuum is on a 2 year warranty – I would get in touch with them and explain the problem before the two years are up.
