My carpets in my car have a very strong smell of pets and cigarette smoke and need a really good cleaning, so I’m wondering what the best and cheapest way to clean them is? Any specific products to use that work really well?

Hire a pro. I am a carpet and upholstery cleaner, a/k/a janitor with a fancy machine. If I come to a household to clean its carpet, I will do a compact or subcompact car for $ 40 extra. If it is a mid size or small SUV, I charge $ 50, if it is a large car or mid size SUV, I charge $ 60. If it is a large SUV $ 70. If I am not doing the household, it is $ 10 extra to make the trip.
