Do you think it’s even possible to get a good vacuum for less than $ 100? Money is really tight for me these days, but I want to invest in a quality product. What do you suggest?

  1. get a hoover or eureka
they keep remaking the same basic design
and it only costs around $ 50 or even less.
I have an expensive one too but use this one more because it works well and is easier to use (smaller/lighter)

it is a lightweight upright with a 12 amp motor
a cloth bag of large size. and maybe a few tools and a hose on the back

the hoover is called soft and light.
get one with a large paper bag
the bagless ones are a pain and cost more
and bags really are not that expensive and filter better anyways

you can cut the bags open and reuse them if you want to go cheap.

  2. The best is a Brisslle powerforce its bagless it under 100 bucks i think i payed no more than 50 bucks for it at Walmart and I have had it for a year and i have a German SHepard who sheds crazy and it sucks all the dog hair from all my furniture its awsome its also if you have kids that get crumbs and dust or dirt on the sofas i love it works just like when i first brought it

  3. I hired a professional to shampoo my sofa (he also cleans carpeting and rugs.) We had just purchased a Bissell Powerforce Bagless. He saw it and said it was the best vaccuum out there, that it is what he uses as a professional and that it lasts longer than the other vaccuums he tried.

    Here ya go!

    I love my Hoover.

  5. I have a Bissell PowerForce from Wal-mart. It was around $ 30-$ 40, and I have had it for a little over two years. It is great and has not given me any problems. It has a hose and all the attachments right on board and it has a little indicator for when you need to change the bags. And the replacement bags are really affordable too. It’s nothing fancy, but it does work, and it has served me well.

  6. My husband and I cleaned display home for over 25 years and used just about every brand but found Eureka the best, cheapest and longest lasting. They are cheap enough that replacing them is no budget breaker. They are lightweight too.
In our business we cleaned sometimes 14 houses a week.
One of our contractors did a study on traffic in display homes and found a years traffic equaled 20 years in a regular house.
    So figure it out.
