Best vacuum for hardwood floors?

3

So my regular bissel vacuum is on its last leg… It has been great, but our house is mostly hardwood floors with throw rugs, so what is the best, mid grade (0.00 to 0.00) vacuum for floors? It also has to be great for dog hair as we have 3 large dogs and 1 rarely seen cat… I would perfer bagless. thanks for help!

  1. I bought a Rumba and love it! I hit the start button on my way out the door for work, and when I get home the vacuuming is complete. I would not suggest this for thick carpets, but I have tile with throw rugs and hardwood floors. My favorite part- it runs underneath all of the furniture and picks up all of the dog/ cat hair/ dust bunnies that find their way under the couch and chair. Not really in your price range, but if you can spare a few extra $$ it’s worth it!

  2. For our hardwood floors my wife uses a $20.00 Bissel. Beater bars and brushes are not the best thing on wood floors. Use regular vacum for other floors. Save the cash and give yourself a treat.
