I’ve been using an Eureka bagless for the past several months and believe I may have worn it out (lost suction lights up and won’t suck any more). I am still finding seed shells deep in the carpet fibers. I also keep having to cut long people hairs out of it.
Need something that will last longer than a few-several months with extreme usage, wear and tear that really sucks up the dirt, people hairs and deep-in-the-carpet kids’ stuffs and birds’ seed shells and foods. 😉
I agree about the shop vac. I have an industrial shop vac purchased from a large hardware store chain . they arent the quietest vacuum cleanbers in the world but talk about SUPER SUCKER !! And bagless.
Best thing I ever bought.
I would suggest a industrial shop vac these vac’s have pretty strong suction . read the box to be sure you can use it on carpeting. if you don’t want to get a shop vac I would suggest laying a tarp under the bird cage or put a cover around the bottom of the cage. I did this to my bird’s cages .
