I have a bagless and I went and bought another and am having the same problem. How do you keep it clean after you empty the container? Everytime I empty the dirt container, the white dust falls all over the vacuum and it stays in the canister?

Try using a fabric softener sheet . When you empty the container wipe out with sheet and wipe down the outside of vacuum , Should help,
