i have a bagless featherlight dirtdevil and i emptied the dust chamber or whatever you call it and now when i turn it on tons of dust is spit out not sucked up. i put the dust chamber back on correctly but i have no idea what the problem is… any idea?
Just buy a new one that won’t break down as easily. Some homes have little vacuum slots everywhere. Try using those. They work well and helps the vacuum cleaner not break down as easily.

Okay I HAD the same one. the problem is its a bad vacuum I had to return mine after shipping it to the company 7 times to be "FIXED" I just got a whole new one pull out your hose I bet there is all kinds of stuff clogged in there huh?
Are you sure you locked the basket when you closed it?
Is there blockage at the intake?
Undo the basket and check the filter and output there.
Otherwise… buy a new one.
