I’ve narrowed my search down to a bagged canister vac with HEPA filter. Based on quite a bit of online research and calling vacuum shops, I’m looking at Panasonic MC-CG467 and Electrolux/Eureka Sanitaire SC3683A. Any opinions on which of those to buy? Or another suggestion that meets my guidelines? I will not consider a bagless vac and have chosen canister because we have mostly hardwood.
First, we have a Eureka Optima…. It was around $50 and we discovered you get what you pay for. $150 should be good though. Have you checked consumer reports online? You can get a one month subscription for $5 ish. I hope this helps a little. My mother has an electrolux and loves it, but its older. In the last few years, electrolux has been made by a different manufacturer.
i would go with the eureka.they are a good vacuum and seem to last along time i had one a while back last me 15 teen yrs.it was not the model your looking at but it was a eureka.same company.
