Most Durable upright vacuum that picks up very long hairs, feathers,?

seeds & little bits of food, bits of broken glass, etc.? (you get the idea). So you see, I need something durable.

I’m looking to spend around 0 give or take, but also considering a 9.87 Hoover Windtunnel, or maybe a 8.66 Infinity NV29 No loss of suction bagless upright.
And also looking at the ones for under 0.

I have a Eureka upright that just doesn’t cut it (only the hose sucks really well now and I can’t crawl around on the floor all day to use the hose! Replacing the filter didn’t make the rest of it work better).

We have: 6 birds & 3 long-haired people.
Is there anything that will brush or pick up the long hairs (that shorten the lifespan of the vacuum or clogs it) before they get sucked into the vacuum?

How long should I expect it to last without having to have it professionally repaired and maintained?

  1. dysons are the best in my opinion they pick up dirt and other things like that really quick with our old hoover it took me half an hour to clean my bedroom and now with the dyson it takes 5-10 minutes hope this helps…………………get a dyson

  2. The Kirby vacuum is the best of the best. I have one, but it is way over $100. I don’t think you are going to find a good vacuum for that amount.

  3. I know it seems like a lot to spend, but Dyson’s are totally worth the money….AND if you go to Bed Bath and Beyond you can use their 20 percent off coupon…and a friend of mine even found one in an Ollie’s (a discount close out store) They are AHHHHMAHZING!

I have long thick curly hair and it totally picks it up as well as my dogs hair….AND it easily converts to do steps and ceilings and such. It even comes with a furniture attachment.

I’ve had mine 3+ years and a friend of mine has had hers for 5 and they are still running like they are brand new!!!

  4. I have heard the Kirby’s are the best, but they are way out of my price range at about 1k. I use a Bissell with the Turbo pet hair attachment. Works great for me with 2 long haired cats and a dog. It is a bagless, but it gets the cat litter up with no problem at all
