My Vacuum cleaner won't suck much up anymore. WHY?

2

I have a Fantom bagless vacuum, and I’ve only had it for two years and it doesn’t seem to suck like it first did. I keep the filters clean and empty it after every use. The belt is working because the brush is still spinning. It sucks some stuff, but not a lot. I have two cats and they track litter out of the bathroom, and into the carpet. The brush flips it out of the carpet, but it won’t suck it up. I’ve checked for clogs in the hose, but nothing was there. What’s going on?

  1. The beater brush and its’ bushings may need to be replaced. They will get dirt and grease in them and then they do not turn as easily as they should hence a loss of pick up.

  2. depending on what type it is , take a flashlight ,disconnect the hose between the head and the bag or the bagless compartment, bet you its plugged mine has to be cleaned out about every 2 months my dog and parrot are a killer on it .Pipeu2
