I bought a eureka (the boss capture, bagless) about 8 months ago. I loved it, it was great!! However…
for some reason, now the brush wont spin. it will spin if you pick it up off the carpet a little…then it will spin, but on the ground otherwise, it wont.
a long time ago the height adjuster broke, and it still worked afterwards…but now it doesnt…
What do i do? I spent 130 on it…i dont want to buy another!!
Check the belt to drive the brush in not slack or needing replaced.

Did you try it over bare wood floor? If it works you’ll need to fix the height adjustment, often they don’t break but the dial or knob to raise the height is not lined up properly. You would need to work on it from the botton & open up the cover to expose the parts. Also, you should inspect the belt while it’s apart. Usually a little adjusting of parts will bet it working. One other thing with new vacuum cleaners is that they have an air filter that if clogged will create problems, worth checking first.
