Refurbished items are usually as good or better than new because they’ve already been thoroughly checked again by the repair people. I’ve bought several refurbished things and haven’t had a problem with any of them. Big Lots have good sales on refurbished items that can usually save you half or more off the price.

Jump on it. This is a very powerful vacuum and well worth twice that price.
