So I do not see flea dirt on my cat but I still am finding fleas?

My cat has been treated with frontline and we have him on capstar for a few days. We’ve had the carpets sprayed, bombed the apt twice, we vacuum everyday with a flea collar ( bagless) and dump the tank into a bag outside and throw it out. Just treated the outside today. I brush my cat with the flea comb every morning and I do not see any flea dirt on him at all, but I’m still seeing fleas? Will they ever die?

  1. I have the same problem, my fleas were coming from the yard, and since you said you just treated outside today, i would vacuum good again tomorrow and see if they start going down in numbers. if they don’t, i would recommend treating the yard again in a week and bombing the same day, that should do it.

  2. If frontline doesn’t work then you can buy a flea shampoo for cats and bath them with that and use flea collars.

  3. Fleas are very hard to get rid of, Frontline is one of the best things available to use on your cat. If you know someone who can order from Orkin try to get some Termador and it will solve all of your problems with fleas…and any other kind of bug.
