Definitely bagless. I have a Dyson, the most amazing vacuum I’ve ever had but also the most expensive. In the $400 range. My sister got one just like mine on Craigs list for $75 !! Have a look
I prefer the bagless. You can see all the dirt it’s picking up and clean up is a snap, just remove the canister and dump it out. It also seems to do a better job. You should be able to get a decent vacuum for under a$100.
bagless is so much better, you can even wash the filter after use and let air dry . I have been doing this method for 8 years and the money I have saved is a bunch
