About half a year ago I purchased a PowerForce Bagless Vacuum by bissell and never had problems with it until lately. It’s been eating up my carpet and then spitting it out into balls. I’ve cleaned it out and all, but it hasn’t helped. Any suggestions as to what may be wrong?
Check the beater bar carefully for objects and strings make sure it’s seated correctly in the housing Clean the beater bar with a pointed object all the brush bristles.
Feel the bottom of the Vacuum to be sure there isn’t a crack in the housing.
Check all the lines starting from the one that exits the beater to be sure it’s not clogged. Use a bottle brush or a coat hanger to push through the clog.
It sure sounds as though there is something protruding that is causing that.
Also try changing the belt on the beater bar, But for sure make sure the beater bar is clean and spins freely!
