  1. This is 2010. Nobody uses a vacuum with a bag anymore. You should go bagless. It’s cheaper and it’s good for the environment. You don’t need to buy bags. But you still need to replace air filters for your bagless vacuum. Air filters are a problem for the environment too.

  2. I got a Dyson that I like. It really doesn’t matter either way you go it just depends how much money you can and want to spend. If you’re not looking to drop 1200-2000 on a Vacuum then get a Dyson.

  3. Bagless vacuums tend to lose their suction power over time, cause they get clogged with lint in places you can’t see. Of course this is something they don’t tell you when you buy the machine.

Dyson claims this does not happen to his bagless vacuuming machines

  4. With the bag. I personally tested a bagless vac and a vac with bag
side by side. The bagless left dirt behind that the vac with bag
was able to pick up. There is a significant difference in the suction
power between the two and if you don’t empty the bagless collection cup
just right you’ll get a dusty mess. The filters needed by bagless vacs
    are very expensive.
