Hoover was a Republican who led this country into the great depression.
FDR led us out of the Great Depression, and gave the country Social Security, to protect retirement.
Hoover had a vacuum cleaner, Franklin had a stove. 🙂

There are no similarities. Hoover was lassez-faire economics and Franklin believed in regulation of the market.
