I don’t wanna pay that much for a Dyson.

Try this:

I thought the same before I bought one.

None of them work like a Dyson does. Four Years of usage picks-up just like day one.

No breaking belt, no air filter replacement cost, Easy to clean the brush, great accessories.

I know I sound like a Dyson sales person but believe me it is the best investment.

You can pay $ 120 every year plus cost of replacing belts or parts or Pay $ 350 for life for a vacuum that works everytime.

  1. I like mine. It’s a Kenmore DuraPower Bagless Upright Vacuum. It has a special attachment for removing pet hair from furniture, but getting it out of the carpet is no problem, either. It also has a dirt indicator at the top, so you can tell if the dirt you are sucking up is still there or not. I love mine.

  2. I swear by Hoover. I’ve had my Hoover for 17 years and have never had any trouble with it. Considering the quality of the product, the price is very modest. I have 2 cats and 1 dog so the vacuum gets used daily and does a great job. I also have a Hoover dirt extractor and am equally pleased with that.
My sister bought that high-priced Dyson and she hates it. She says it’s really hard to push and turning it is hard to control. The only good thing she has to say about it is that her husband will vacuum so she doesn’t have to struggle with it.
Hoover is the #1 vacuum in America and there’s a good reason for that, the quality and value are there.

  3. I’m with you; I won’t pay the price for a Dyson. I work in retail and have seen too many of them returned for problems also.

I had Hoover and thought it was doing a good job until it broke for the third time (twice under warranty) and Hoover wouldn’t repair it again or offer any refund. All three times was the same issue and the unit was far from abused!

So I went to Bissell and am quite happy with them! I now have a Healthy Home model that is just wonderful. It has the multiple cyclone technology to spin the dirt out of the airflow, sealed HEPA filtration, a lifetime belt, a 5 year warranty, well designed and handy tools all for around $ 250. You can find it for $ 200 on sale.

We have a lot of pets (4 cats and 3 dogs) and it does great with the pet hair! Easy to empty and the sealed HEPA filter works great! And I run it a lot with all these feet running around the house (every other day at least) and it’s so easy to use. It’s not a light weight unit but I’ll call it solidly made!

My first Bissell is still running after 7 years but the catch that hold it in the upright position broke and it kept falling over. Since I was working a lot at the time, hubby was doing a lot of the cleaning and I got tired of the whining! LOL The old sweeper has been delegated to be the suction unit for his power tools in his wood shop in the dust collection system. He’s loving the bagless, easy to empty cup!
