I bought a Bissell Power force Turbo for under $70 at Wal-mart and am very happy with it. Like the first answerer to your question, I am amazed at how much gets sucked up from the brand new carpet in our brand new home of just 5 months! Seriously, the suction power is amazing and the bagless canister is the only way to go!
