I have a hoover bagless vacuum and it doesn’t have any suction. The hand held extension works but not the vacuum itself…..what could be the problem?
Should I just get a new vacuum? This one was 0 and I’ve only had it for about 8 months.
If it is a clog, how do I unclog it?

It should still be under warranty. Hopefully you saved your receipt or some proof of purchase, but you can send it in for repair. Contact Hoover (Google them for phone #). In the meantime, borrow your neighbors’.
check the belt
look at the top of the base and you will see 2 flat blade screws near arrows which say easy belt check
turn each screw a quarter of a turn and remove the cover. The belt is probably gone. The filters need to be removed from the upper canister. I bang the heck out of mine, outside at the trashcan, all kind of dust will be flying about. also a small hepa filter will need to be removed and cleaned near where the hose goes into the canister.
