  1. You forgot to mention that you have to “clean” the filter, usually just shaking it isn’t enough, you need to blow that puppy out with a minimum of 120psi. Now talk about dirt flying around all over the place!

    Gotta love it, don’t you?

  2. I agree, I was thinking the same thing not too long ago when I got a new vacuum.
I think todays vacuums are designed to make you go “Ooo, Ahh” while staring at it on a shelf in a department store rather than actually working worth a damn.

  3. @walkingfreak Which means less jobs for Americans. Trees are a renewable resource. If we don’t have a use for the trees we’ll cut ’em all down so we can pave over where the used to be and park all the cars the Chinese can ship over here, that are made out of the stuff we used to make….

  4. @bluedanbob I had a few people say that eliminating bags saves trees, but trees are a renewable resource, and they provide jobs for the people that grow them, the people that harvest them, and the people that make products (like vacuum cleaner bags) from them, then we grow more, instead of paving over where they used to be. I say bring back bags!.. hahaha.

  5. ahh i remember those days of the bagged vaccums and also how much i hated having to empty one cause the unzipping was fine but figuring out how to get the bag out was a confuzzling thing for me then get dust all over me and here i find out the newer ones toss dust on ya too well dangit dangit dangit cant win with either one sounds like it haha

  6. @walkingfreak Nah.most of the newer vacs use the superior clean synthetic hepa bags that are recycleable..The Hepa bagged vac of today has hardly no loss of power.Filters better that any bagless and is way more sanitary when changing. The material is recycled so its a wash out anyway and its recommended by 9 out of 10 doctors to use the hepa bagged over the bagless.Much healthier.

  7. Bagged vacuums of today are not like yesterdays.Todays bagged vacuums use the new synthetic cloth hepa bags. They are vastly superior to the old paper bags. They dont clog up because they have multy layers.. as the bag fills it still breaths normal. No loss of power..They keep the inside of you vacuum spotless and keep the motor clean to last longer.9 out of 10 doctors recommend hepa bagged vacs over baggless.Easiy to change..No touching the dirt..No loss of power. Its a simple choice.

  8. @farmall1938 Lol!! Nothing like having a nice clean synthetic cloth hepa bag in your vacuum.Keeps all the dirt in the bag and easy to change out.Plus it doesnt loose power very much because the synthetic cloth breats very easy as it is filled with dirt..Gotta love the Kirby’s!!

  9. @rpeek I’m sorry.I didnt mean to make you feel bad about your new Dirt Devil..Haha!! Some of them are really good machines as far as cleaning power like the Dyson but..It still is a bagless vacuum thats dirty to empty. No mater what you do your gonna get dirt on you somewhere..I absolutely loved you video!!! You are very funny..Loved the bandjo music in the background:)

  10. @panaclean775 No actually I wasn’t joking.. We do feel good about the new vac. Didn’t get a dirt devil, but got a good one at sears… Trish loves it.. hahaha.

  11. @rpeek Oh ok.I thought the new one was the red Dirt Devil in the video.Sorry.Hopefully you got a Kenmore then. They are very good vacs.

  12. @rpeek Kenmores are great.Hopefully its the Intuition. That is a fantastic machine.Panasonic made with the best motors in the industry.

  13. @panaclean775 Well, my wife picked it out. Of course, what would I know about a vacuum cleaner. If it’s not a shop vac, I don’t have a clue. It’s a “progressive” and it says “hepa” on it.
