my mom’s just broke down its a hoover brand but i think that there is a better brand out there we just havent discovered it yet.
we have had this machine for 5 years now (its gone though) but my mom uses it almost evryday and she cleans at least 2 or 3 rooms each day. i need one that can survive the continous work.

I don’t know how often you deep clean your carpet but I’m ready to do mine after 7+ years. It still looks pretty clean but I’ve had plenty of spillages as well as pet accidents. I’m sure it’s overdue for a cleaning. Instead of hiring someone to clean it for hundreds of dollares, I’ve been considering renting the Rug Doctor cleaner from the local Home Depot. It’s like $ 20-$ 25 for a 24 hour rental, not including the cleaning solutions…probably another $ 20-$ 30.

My sister swears by Bissell, the one that gets 3x as hot as the other brands. I’ve seen her use it, it is really awesome. I’m going to get one myself, soon.
just the other day i bought a bissell pro heat. i got it at walmart for about $ 158 i have used it 2 times now to clean different rooms in my house. i did this just after 1 week after i rented the rug doctor.

we rented one about a week and a half ago. i have been renting those machines for years. it made my whole house smell like wet dog and i dont have any pets at all. it turned my sand colored carpet a greyish sand. and it took my carpets 26 hours to dry.
so i went and bought my own machine. and now my house smells great, my carpets are back to the color they should be. and my kids and i socks are back to being white.
so if your wanting to buy a machine try going to walmart or ordering online at walmart.com and check out the bissell pro heat.
