Is the Hoover FloorMate SpinScrub Bagless Vacuum Good for Laminate

Melissa need help to clarify doubt about : Is the Hoover FloorMate SpinScrub Bagless Vacuum Good for Laminate Flooring?
We just had locking laminate flooring installed in our home in January. We got a high shine dark cherry wood laminate in the living room, armstrong brand. In the living room we got a marble tile laminate, armstrong brand as well.

I’m trying to figure out the best way to clean them. I’ve been just sweeping and in the living room using vinegar and water in a spray bottle with microfiber dust mop, but I’m not getting it as clean as I want.

We are a high traffic household. On the kitchen I used just a broom and ammonia and water.

I need something a bit easier, an all in one.

Will the Hoover FloorMate SpinScrub Bagless Vacuum scratch the laminate flooring? Is there a better option?
@ A. Spruce – I think your wrong about the steam mops. The dealer who sold us the flooring told me specifically NOT to use a steam mop. She said that the extreme heat of the steam mops would cause the boards to expand and then contract, and this would cause them to eventually lift up and not seal as tightly. So, your warnings about the Floormate is the same thing that would occur with the steam mop according to the dealer who sold us the flooring and told me she had the same flooring in her home.

We used to live in a house with laminate flooring and we used a Floor Mate. It worked really well, but after a while I noticed the seams starting lifting a little. We had a couple of floods from a bad toilet and a water heater the sprung a leak, so maybe that caused the lifting.
If you use the Floor Mate in small areas and vacuumed up the water very thoroughly it should be fine. It definitely left very few streaks and got the floor very clean. No chance of the brushes scratching the floor. The instructions say not to use on laminate floors, but if you are careful and get all the water up quickly, you should be fine
