It’s very important that you use genuine OEM Hoover Filters as long as your vacuum is under warranty, as use of non genuine filters will void your very long warranty offered on your vacuum from Hoover. The Blue Washable Primary Sponge Filter should be washed at least every 30 days, and replaced once every 6-12 months.
