I have bought a few vacuums. I used to really like my Miele, a German made vacuum. I vacuum alot, cleaning business. My favorite is a Oreck. They are light weight, vacuum very well and easy to use. They vacuum stairs too. I also have a Kirby but they are too heavy for what I use them for. Good Luck. I hope this helps. Dyson. Short of a commercial HEPA unit, the best I’ve used.

Dyson are always blocking up. Hoover bagless is useless. Oreck like the the other answer says is good.
